Lorch started his football career at a very young age where he played for Katlehong young stars where he would attract the giants Orlando Pirates. After he was signed by Pirates he was immediately loaned to national first division Cape Town All Stars then he was loaned again the following season to Chippa United where he had an excellent spell.
Lorch started to play for Orlando Pirates full time on the 2017-2018 season where he would have an amazing impact at the team thus earning his starting 11 spot. During the 2018-2019 season, Lorch would reach the peak of his career where he earned himself the South African Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the season. Lorch recently joined the DSTV Premier League champions, Mamelodi Sundowns in the January transfer window. He debuted his first game at Sundwons against his former team Orlando Pirates where he played 62 minutes of the game.
