Rhulani’s professional club coaching started at Sundwons where he was appointed as the coach of the juniours team then he was later promoted to be assistant coach under Pitso Mosimane. After helping the club win the CAF champions league back in 2016, Mokwena was appointed by Orlando Pirates to be the assistant coach to Milutin Sredojevic.

Rhulani’s huge coaching gig came in late 2019 when the head coach resigned from his post making Rhulani the Orlando Pirates interim coach. During the interim coaching Rhulani would have a fair spell with Pirates then on the beginning of 2020 he was appointed by Premier league side Chippa United as the head coach. Teboho Mokoena’s career kick started at a very early age when he played for his high school team. After a good perfomance at school he was recruited by a acandemy named Harmony Sports. He eventually excelled in the academy then he was recruited by Premier League giants Supersports United. Mokoena landed very well in the Supersport United under 19 team as he eventually became the captain of the team.

At the age of 19 Mokoena was promoted to the Supersport United first team where he would excel under the guidance of Stuart Baxter. During his early years at Supersport United their midfield was one of the best in the country where he partnered with Dean Furman and Reneilwe Letsholonyane.
